In a summer hiatus twist, Drew decided she'd like to consolidate the styles of her multiple brands. She put our team in touch with the designer for her DREW magazine to make our styles more cohesive. This meant an entirely new brand package done by our amazing team lead Megan Mucci. The result was a much more minimal design. There were elements, like the way the magazine designer stacked words, that brought up the challenge of how to make the designs readable within only a couple of seconds. Unlike our title animations that are up for only a couple of seconds, the text in the magazine can be absorbed as slowly as the audience needs. In addition, we needed to add more illustrated elements and icons so that every title design wasn't just text like the titles in the magazine.
A few shapes defined our designs: The capsule, the rosette, the arch, circle, rounded corner squares, and a rounded triangle. Anything else that couldn't be made within those strict shapes needed to have rounded edges. This made for very playful, and therefore very "Drew", designs.

Mean Girls themed show for an interview with the cast of the 2024 Mean Girls movie. I needed a quick solution for lips so I put on some lipstick, kissed a piece of paper a few times, and scanned it in!
F1 themed show, close to my heart since my dad used to take me to drag races when I was younger!
Using assets provided by Wonka, Megan Mucci created this beautiful background for our large on-set screen background. I provided her with 3d renders of our show logo and our Drews News logo in the gold style of Wonka. 3d modeled and textured in Cinema 4d and animated the gold in After Effects. I also designed the bug using the Wonka assets as well as the actor freeze frames.
